The data was provided in 10 Excel files covering closed matters from 2019-2025 and open matters as of February 26, 2025.
Note: This is not comprehensive historical data. Matters closed before January 1, 2019 are not included in this dataset.

| Search Name | Case title, typically in "Petitioner v. Respondent" format |
| ALJ Assigned | Name of the Administrative Law Judge assigned (if any) |
| Jurisdiction Code | Code indicating the case type/jurisdiction (e.g., "GRC", "HPW", "EDS") |
We link OAL GRC contested cases to our GRC complaints database using the following method:
Approximately 3.3% of GRC contested cases (2 cases) could not be automatically linked due to incomplete or non-standard case numbers.
This dataset is a point-in-time snapshot from February 2025. OAL does not publish this data online, so updates require submitting a new OPRA request.
